In the United States issues concern money, power and misinformation. The United States image and role as a global leader is seriously scrutinized and debated by other nations. Americans know little of this because of their minimal interest and lack of coverage by the media. Our leadership loses further international creditability by the mishandling of issues that are very sensitive to other nations. The nation longs for a leader that brings a breath of fresh air and an inner wisdom connected to higher principles.

Gibson's new Jesus movie establishes that Mel is obsessed with violence, suffering, martyrdom and blood. "Passion" should stir up the dogma for a while. Unfortunately it misses the message of Jesus' love, and ignores the influence of the Esseenes upon his life and teachings. The movie comes at a time when more people within the population are experiencing their own personal spiritual encounters with other dimensions and beings. Institutional religion suffers further exposure of sexual abuse, misplaced funds and the continuation of lies as a means of preserving control. A growing schism results between those who have direct spiritual revelation and those who participate in institutional frenzy.
