The month starts with the world population holding its collective breath as if anticipating something tragic to come. An air of concern hangs over the informed wondering what is to happen. It is a month of emotional mood swings for the entire planet. Holidays, brilliant entertainment and good weather bring out the highs; while natural tragedies, threats and angry political acts plunge the global population into worries and lows. 

The institution of marriage and the way people live together comes under further scrutiny and controversy. Alternative living arrangements are discussed more openly and public acceptance of alternatives increases. A growing population throughout the world seeks more information about the dynamics of family dysfunction and ways to deal with it rather than remaining victims of dysfunction and abuse. Cinema and science give more attention to the need for family healing.

 World events this month become more focused upon the issues of sacrifice, martyrdom and loss. Those who do not have what they want will be more willing to take drastic actions to get it. Those who are afraid to lose what they have acquired will be more militant in the defense holding on to possessions and beliefs. This leads to greater polarization and harsher measures of defense towards threats of loss. The ultimate sacrifice can be more frequent episodes of fanatical martyrdom that include suicide. In the western world the living standard can be drastically altered by continued spikes of the oil prices and raising costs of production accordingly. 

Americans particularly share a pensive and worried mood not knowing what is to come, yet sensing that danger is near. This month brings out the best in human healing and survival instincts. Unfortunately they may be necessary to deal with major tragedy. Real estate markets continue to weaken and the dollar becomes more threatened. A brilliant underground movie has growing impact upon the masses and touches many restless searching souls with the most meaningful truths of spirituality and science.
