This is a month of hopes, schemes and impractical dreams. More often than not international politics between nations is exactly like the communication in a stressed marriage. Each participate is more intent upon making their own emotionally charged toxic position rather than hearing the other participate and coming to a mutual point of resolved. Power plays and threats characterize the mode of negotiation as this month passes. European nations get more involved in the Iraqi mess, and the United Nations is put in a position to do more.

Economic issues are especially important at this time and the trends that develop during this month can be indicators of a developing long term trend. The tense global situation with its ongoing terrorist threat keeps international markets in a state of flux and volatility. Opportunities still continue to develop for making excellent profits on arbitrage and exchange of currencies.

The United States is in position to restore its image and take a new lead in international affairs. It remains to be seen what the policy will be and if the population exerts the best of American resolve rather than have issues forced down the public throat by misguided leaders. Public lethargy can be a major contributor to the continuing decline of American integrity. On the other hand, public participation can inspire an attempt to recognize the rampart corruption and build an American presence of benign contribution that applies her powerful resources to healing a dying planet.

Expect increased natural earth activity. The west coast will be active with earthquakes and renewed volcanic activity. Some other peaks that  are numerically ripe for activity include Mt. Baker, Mt. Washington in Oregon, Lassen Peak and possibly Mt. Rainier.
