THIS YEAR BY THE NUMBERS---2006ÓLynn Buess

INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL PREDICTIONS 2006

The number for the universal year 2006 is eight. Some of the issues that the number eight influences include power, authority, money, mastery of energies and the application of natural and spiritual laws. The sub influence of the 2 and 6 pace emphasis upon social issues, politics and matters of public trust and well being. The longing for cooperation between all people runs high among the masses. The tools of manipulation and control become more entrenched by those who covet power. The desire for healing runs deep among the masses. Purposeful disruption and stress remain a tactic of the manipulators.

Social unrest and upheaval reach a new high of occurrences and intensity as differences among races, among sexes and among differing social strata are examined by the masses and exploited by manipulators. The good news is that what have been overlooked social issues can no longer be ignored. Many new faces come onto the scene offering refreshing possibilities of proceeding toward more global harmony. Women's rights remain a central point of public focus.

Energy and its sources become a central theme this year. Coal mining and marketing will get more attention than recently because of explosions, personnel abuse and price controls. Behind the scenes tactics among the primary oil using nations becomes more desperate and devious than ever. This leads to accidents and outbreaks of disastrous waste. Previously ignored and suppressed alternative energy inventions and devices come out into the open as the reality of oil shortage and carcinogenic pollution from petrochemicals becomes more obvious.

Devices that channel subtle energies for healing are developed as mankind becomes more attuned to other realities and dimensions of existence. With expansion of our knowledge of the universe comes expansion in mankind's vision. A quantum leap among quantum leaps takes places in technology and the application of physics and mathematical advances. Energy conversion, time travel and reverse gravity propulsion are a few of the fields of knowledge coming into light.

More than ever mankind looks to signs from the heavens.  Wondrous and frightening events come from the sky this year. Energy emissions from the sun and other stellar sources foretell events to come. Previous mysteries of space are better understood. The fact of alien visits to our planet can no longer be suppressed by secretive agencies. Our galactic heritage and knowledge of our place in the universe becomes available to more of the mass consciousness.

Economics continues to be strained in the European community and there are growing areas of increased tension around the globe as territorial pacts become more ruthless in their competitive ploys. America goes deeper into decline with higher interest rates and deteriorating real estate markets.

The United States enters a pivotal time of redefining its place among nations of the world. After taking such a beating around the globe because of poor leadership and questionable policies, the population undergoes a collective scrutiny of just what the nations stands for and where it is going. Ever diminishing freedoms become more scarce during this year. Displeasure with leadership becomes more pronounced and the deterioration of our infrastructure more obvious. The nation longs for a real leader.
